[Review] BamBam – B

The charming BamBam is back with his second mini-album ‘B‘. Just a few weeks ago he released the single ‘Who Are You’ featuring Red Velvet’s Seulgi, and had fans going wild with the song and the amazing music video and performance.

We are intrigued to see the direction he is taking with this EP. He definitely surprised us with ‘riBBon‘, and we are looking forward to listen to this this release. Let’s get right into it.

B

Intro (Satellites)‘ starts off this release and we get rapper BamBam shinning with dope beats and a touch of autotune that made the rap flow super fun. Next up, is the pre-released song ‘Who Are You‘ and we are still in love with this song, check our article dedicated to this single here.

We head right into the title track ‘Slow Mo‘, and with this single BamBam goes experimental with a very well done arrangement and mixing, and soft vocals, this song is rather dark in comparison to his debut single but I loved its contrast, it shows a new side of him as an artist and it is a very interesting and unique listen.

For the music video, besides seeing BamBam rocking the fashion game, we also get stunning effects and a lovely pastel colour palette that gives this song a rather soft touch. The production in this music video is insanely good and everything in it is just beautiful. Watch it below.

Subliminal‘ comes along with traps beats, emotional singing, and a style that really reminds me of indie hip-hop artists. I loved the style and vibe he went for in this single. It is fun, unexpected and absolutely dope.

Next up

The R&B single ‘Let me love you‘ plays next. BamBam’s falsettos are on point in this single. The full track is a smooth listen and I really enjoyed the dreamy vibe.

Last on this release is ‘Ride or die‘, with this song we get hip-hop tunes and a awesome guitar riff. The beat drops in this song are super cool and I really enjoyed the rap flow and hype style in this single.

BamBam changed the game with this release. He is really out there showing his different sides as an artist. Make sure to listen to this release here.
