Rapper In The Spotlight: JUSTHIS

For this week’s Rapper In The Spotlight we are checking the career of a rapper with an unique flow and a fast and sharp rapping style that always manages to surprise us. Let’s talk about JUSTHIS.  

Independent Beginning

Heo Seung (aka. JUSTHIS) debuted independently in 2015 with the single ‘No One’ featuring none other that Sunwoojunga.

This same year he also released the single ‘Veni, Vidi, Bitch’ featuring Paloalto and Okasian.

In 2016, he released his first album ‘2 MANY HOMES 4 1 KID’, with the title song ‘Sell The Soul’. This album, despite receiving some criticism for its lyrics, also received a lot of praise for its sound and his rapping abilities. 

He came back in 2017, with the instrumental and remix version of his first album along with the singles ‘WASH! WASH!’ with Mad Clown, ‘Tru Rich’ and ‘Brown Eyes View’ with Paloalto and CIFIKA.

JUSTHIS

The single albums ‘THISISJUSTHIS’ and ‘Re: Tired.’ were released in 2018, and this same year he released the song ‘IndiGO’ along with Kid Milli, NO:EL and Young B.

This same year he also up with Paloalto for the collaborative album ‘4 the Youth’.

Between 2019 and 2020, he not just released a few singles but also joined ‘Show Me The Money 9’ as part of the producer team. 

Latest works

JUSTHIS has a lengthy list of collabs, many of them including the one and only Paloalto. In 2021, they both released the remix of the album ‘4 The Youth’ including 3 of the songs.

Later on he dropped the single albums ‘Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night’ and ‘You’.

His latest release was the EP ‘Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night II’.
