[Review] VERIVERY – FACE YOU

The boys from VERIVERY are back with a new EP ‘FACE YOU’. After their stint in the show ‘Road To Kingdom’ they have a lot of eyes on them, so let’s check it out!

FACE YOU

The title track ‘Thunder’ opens the EP and just WOW. It’s a very dark, impactful opener. The deep autotuned voice in the very beginning is so dope and immediately grabs the attention.

Next up is ‘Connect’. This track really fits the tone that ‘THUNDER’ set up. It’s really dope and I like the switch between the chorus and the verses. I’m really digging the heavy instrumentals with the lovely vocals.

‘SKYDIVE’ follows that with a way softer mood. The instrumentals are very soft before sliding into a funky groove.

The next song was their original for the final episode of ‘Road To Kingdom’, ‘Beautiful-x’. Watch their performance of the song below. It’s a fun song and I’m glad they added it to this EP.

‘Privacy’ is the last song on the EP. This might be my favorite track. Outstanding vocals and a smooth rap verses with funky samples in the instrumentation. Honestly, this is a really cool track.

Overall

‘FACE YOU’ is a very good addition to the discography of VERIVERY. I’m stoked and can’t wait for their live performances.
