[Review] Yoon Jisung – MIRO

Yoon Jisung is back with his new mini-album ‘MIRO’. Let’s dive right in!

MIRO

We start off with the track ‘ToDogToDog’ with BERO. This is just adorable. His dog is featured in the very beginning. It just makes me so happy listening to it.

‘BLOOM’ is the title track. This is the stuff from my retro synth pop dreams. It’s a major vibe and catchy to boot. The video is just aesthetics on top of aesthetics. It’s absolutely beautiful.

After that we get the track ‘SUMMER DRIVE’ featuring former NU’EST’s Jonghyun. In the album on Spotify they tagged SHINEE’s Jonghyun. I’m sure they’ll rectify that soon. The song itself is a fun, summer pop track with some great vocals and a fun vibe.

‘Florescense’ is next. This modern rock song has some fantastic vocal work by Yoon Jisung. It’s such a mellow, soft listen.

The closing track is ‘SLEEP’. This ballad is super nice. I really enjoyed the instrumentals and Jisung’s vocal runs. It’s quite emotional and will definitely tug at your heartstrings.

Overall ‘MIRO’ by Yoon Jisung is quite a lovely comeback. Go give it a listen on Spotify here. If you’d like to read our review about his previous comeback, you can click here.
