[Review] HA SUNG WOON – YOU

Ha Sung Woon is back with the EP ‘You’. Let’s dive in to hear more of his R&B vocals.

YOU

We start off with the track ‘Can’t live without you’. This title track is a soft R&B ballad that creates a super warm ambience. I genuinely enjoyed listening to this title track. His adlibs here and there gave me chills.

‘Think of you’ follows that. This is a wonderful ballad with a stunning instrumentation. I love the strings in the background. The whole track has this elegant sweeping feel to it. Ha Sung Woon’s vocals are everything.

Next up is ‘Fall in you’. This is K-drama OST quality. I’m quite surprised a K-drama hasn’t snagged this one up. It’s a beautiful, emotive ballad about unrequited love.

‘It’s You’ brings us some indie rock vibes. I like the change of pace. The drum really drove the song forward and when the guitars came in, I was sold. The chorus is catchy and I wish they had gone a bit more all in. The instrumental part was dope!

The closing track is ‘Thank You’. This is another wonderful ballad. I like how the acoustic guitar is so much on the forefront. It gives it a lot of authenticity.
