[Review] BIG Naughty – Bucket List

H1GHR MUSIC’s artist BIG Naughty just dropped his first extended play. He signed under the hip-hop agency in 2019 and has released a few singles since.

He showed us a peek of this EP in the single ‘ Girl At The Flower Shop‘ which was released last month. And we are hyping up this incredibly talented young artist. Let’s check out the music.

Bucket List

Featuring JAMIE, ‘Joker‘ opens up this extended play as the title track. I’m still dumbfounded at how emotional his singing is, he is just incredible. This track is soulful, the piano arrangement is absolutely stunning. It’s an amazing introduction for his first EP, showing off his rapping and singing skills.

JAMIE’s addition made this song even smoother, a ten out of ten. Watch below this music video, the production killed it with the storyline and the filming.

Frank Ocean‘ follows featuring SOLE, this track is SMOOTH and perfect to groove to. SOLE’s vocals are dreamy and have an airy feeling that I just love. I am loving how the singing of these two complements each other.

The pre-released track ‘Girl At The Coffee Shop‘ featuring Wonstein is next, and we just loved it.

With a 90s hip hop vibe ‘Brand New World‘ is next, featuring Rohann. The electric guitar in the track was a nice addition, and the solo at the end was flawless. A very interesting addition to the musical mix in this EP.

A piano intro welcomes listeners to ‘10 Years Later‘ with Paloalto as a feature. This track is more EDM based with a touch of enhanced vocals, BIG Naughty and Paloalto’s delivery is fire in this track.

Coogie and GSoul are featured in ‘Bravo‘, this song flows flawlessly and is an easy listen that I could easily have on repeat for a while and not get tired of. It was produced by GRAY and had an effortless and sweet feel to it that I really liked.

Putting an end to this EP is ‘Bucket List‘ produced by DPR CREAM. This song felt like an organic and super cool end to this EP with an electronic vibe that I totally dig.

Overall, each song in this EP explored a different sound and music style, I really liked the diversity and how BIG Naughty explored different vibes in one extended play.
