[Indie Pick] GYE0M

We’re back with a new Indie Pick and this time we’re taking a closer look at singer-songwriter GYE0M and his discography.

Debut

GYE0M debuted in 2020 independently with the single album ‘Afterimage’. It’s a beautifully soft number. I absolutely adore the instrumentation. It creates such a special, intimate ambience, almost as if you’re underwater. The bridge with the guitar is a total vibe.

A couple of months later he came back with the single ‘Fatalism’.

In 2021 GYE0M came back with a whopping five singles. There’s ‘Sand Castle’, ‘Getting Older’, ‘Love is a tragedy’, ‘Forgetless’ and ‘To Anxiousness’. If you’re feeling a bit anxious, definitely listen to the last track. The music video is beautiful shot after beautiful shot that will soothe your worries and help you breathe for a couple of minutes.

This year he released his very first EP ‘Winter To Our Love’. The title track ‘Keeping Thoughts’ features Lee Yerin who I absolutely adore. Their vocals are so lovely together, I really enjoy how they created little harmonies.

GYE0M has also released three more singles since then. I can’t believe that I haven’t featured ‘Drown’ as one of my Music Video Recommendations. It’s stunning! His latest release ‘Loved, Hoped, Lost’ was featured in our Weekly K-Indie Report here.

I’m very excited to see what he brings out next. His entire discography is extremely soothing and calming and it’s a blessing to listen to.
