[Review] JUNE – LUV SIGN

JUNE is back with his new mini-album ‘LUV SIGN’. JUNE is introducing us to the five stages of love. Let’s take a closer look!

LUV SIGN

We start off with ‘If you wonder’ which has a beautiful piano opening before sliding into a groovy guitar section. I love how bluesy this gets when the piano and the guitar come together. JUNE’s vocals are excellent for this type of music.

Next up is ‘Someone’ featuring Choi Jungyoon. This is a lovely mix of R&B and pop. The vocal layering is excellent and creates such a wonderful vibe. The strings in the back really are lovely too. I’m stoked for this collab, because I love Choi Jungyoon’s solo work.

After that comes the title track ‘Got U’. This is a super catchy R&B track.

‘iMessage’ is one groovy track. The instrumentals really pop off and the bass really said ‘I’m here’. I dig this one a lot. JUNE’s falsetto is awesome.

The closing track is ‘Lullaby’. There’s some sort of bassoon or clarinet sample in the very beginning which I really liked! What an excellent vibe. The instrumental bridge was super nice. This is uplifting and soothing at the same time!
