GH Entertainment 2019 rookies 3YE released their first mini-album which includes their previous releases ‘DMT (Do Ma Thing)’, ‘OOMM (Out of My Mind)’ and ‘QUEEN’.
We are very excited to check this release out so let’s dive right in.
TRIANGLE
Their debut song ‘DMT (Do Ma Thing)’, starts off this release and there is no doubt that this girl group came out with a strong and fierce concept. This track is heavy on EDM tunes that just get better and better with the killer rapping and the strong delivery of vocals. Check out their music video below.
Next is ‘OOMM (Out of My Mind)’, which was their second single. This song is a killer, 3YE’s producers and creative team know what they are doing. Yuji, Yurim, and Haeun have an impactful, strong image and their delivery of lyrics and their performance is outstanding. If you want to know what I mean, check the music video below. In one word MAGNIFICENT.
‘QUEEN’ was released last february and this track screams female power in every single second. The visuals are fantastic and the members rule this music video with their presence and outstanding acting skills. Get ready to get K-drama vibes with the music video for this single.
The title track for this mini-album ‘YESSIR’ plays next, with a way more summery vibe beat wise but still impactful and strong in concept. The mixing in this track is fantastic, I loved the different changes in beats, and the drops were super cool. Check the MV below.
‘ON AIR’ begins with a chiller tempo and flow in comparison to the previous songs, and it transforms into a summer hit with its electronic beats and vibe that makes you want to go to the beach and swim in the ocean. It is a refreshing and unexpected track that I absolutely loved.
We get emotional whiplash with ‘STAY WITH ME’, this ballad shows a softer side of 3YE and I can confirm that these girls are allrounders. This track is soft, the vocals are beautiful and the whistling throughout the song was like a whisper in the ears.
Last on this mini album is the remix version of ‘OOMM (Out of My Mind)’, and this version is way chiller and extra groovy with R&B elements and an amazing orchestration that gives this track a completely different vibe.
