[Indie Pick] Kim HanOul

We’re back with a new Indie Pick, this time we’re introducing singer-songwriter Kim HanOul. Let’s take a closer look at his discography!

Debut

Kim HanOul debuted in October 2015 with the single album ‘어젯밤에’. He released this right before leaving for his 2 year mandatory military service. HanOul graduated from the Seoul Institute of Arts and mostly played guitar, before he decided to give singing a shot.

He came back in 2018 with the single ‘When I see you’.

The year after he released the tracks ‘Why now’ and ‘I’m missing you’.

Unfair’ came out in 2020 as well as ‘Signal’.

Kim HanOul had a bit of a break, before coming back in 2022. He released the single ‘Will I see you today’ and his first EP ‘Mousehole’.

Kim HanOul has a very interesting discography so far. He does amazing things with his guitar and has a lovely tone as well. I thought his usage of the autotune on his vocals for ‘Mousehole’ was really intriguing. He definitely keeps his sound very innovative and fresh.

I’m very curious to see where he’ll take his sound in 2023.
