[Review] DRIPPIN – [A Better Tomorrow]

The boys from DRIPPIN are back with their second mini-album ‘[A Better Tomorrow]’. Let’s dive right in!

[A Better Tomorrow]

We open up with the intro ‘A Better Tomorrow’. This instrumental is composed by pdly of MonoTree and creates a good vibe for the rest of the mini-album.

We slide effortlessly into the title track ‘Young Blood’. It’s a House song with lots of synths and pop beats. It’s a bop and rather catchy with its distorted voice in the back.

‘Reach out your hands’ follows next and I dig this groovy vibe. I love their vocals in this one. I feel like everything works together perfectly in ‘Reach out your hands’. It’s lovely.

Next up is ‘Without U’. We’re going the cheerful R&B route. I thoroughly enjoyed the little samples they added in the backing track. It adds a playfulness to the full thing that was adorable to listen to.

We’re on track number five with ‘Firefly’. This is giving me early 2000s K-pop vibes for some reason. It’s wholesome, sounds super sweet and their vocals really take the spotlight in this one. I also really liked the soft speech-rapping.

‘FATE’ closes off this mini-album with happy synths and a cheerful message for me and you and the boys themselves.
