[Review] Brave Girls – Summer Queen

The girl group Brave Girls is back with their new mini-album ‘Summer Queen’. Brave Girls has had the K-pop industry firmly in its thrall with the bop ‘Rollin’’ that won’t leave your head after listening to it. Definitely go check the song out, if you haven’t heard it yet. It’s awesome.

The group Brave Girls is promising us stellar vocals and absolute summer bops with their new mini ‘Summer Queen’. Let’s dive in!

Summer Queen

We start off with the title track ‘Chi Mat Ba Ram’. This tropical House track is a groove and has some funky sax in the instrumentation. It’s a summer bop that will have you vibing to it.

The girls look like they’re having a blast in the MV.

‘Pool Party’ comes up next with a feature of E-CHAN from the boy group DKB. We’re getting some super nice Dance Pop with really cool rap verses. It’s a party anthem with a catchy rhythm and lovely hook.

Next up is the track ‘Summer by myself’ which brings back the saxophone. I’m getting major 90s girl group vibes. It’s fabulous and drenched in a fun nostalgia.

‘FEVER’ is another Dance Pop track. There’s some really fun disco and funk mixed in and I really enjoyed the rap parts. That synth addition in the back is dope. The chorus is a major vibe and I’ll be adding this one to my Dance playlist. It’s awesome.

The last track is the English version of the title track ‘Chi Mat Ba Ram’.

Overall ‘Summer Queen’ by Brave Girls is a major vibe and a total summer bop mini-album.
