[Review] DKB – THE DICE IS CAST

DKB is back with the new single album ‘THE DICE IS CAST‘ including the new singles ‘ALL IN‘, ‘Flower Less‘ and ‘Real Love‘.

This release also includes the pre-released songs included in their previous albums ‘GROWTH‘, ‘LOVE‘ and ‘YOUTH‘.

THE DICE IS CAST

Hip-Hop begins this release with the title track ‘ALL IN‘. DKB sounds a lot more mature in this single, the concept is a lot darker and stronger in comparison to other releases. The harmonizations and vocals are amazing, the high notes and falsettos are flawless, and the rap is killer.

The music video follows the feel of this song, it’s rather dark and melancholic but very cool. Big shoutout to the styling and make-up team, the members look amazing.

EDM beats take over in ‘Flower Less‘; a few of the members participated in the composition and lyrics of this song and it is a bop. This track is electronic music festival quality and I really liked how it was paced. There is a lot happening but the balanced it out well with the vocals.

Real Love‘ is the last new track in this release, this song blends hip-hop beats with some rock instrumentation. It is unique, the mix is unexpected but works well with the diversity of vocals DKB has. As its predecessor, some of the members also participated in the composition and writing on this track. The Talent!

The songs pre-released songs ‘Sorry Mama‘, ‘Still‘, ‘Fondue‘, ‘Tell’em Boys‘, ‘Tell Me Tell Me‘ and ‘Samsung‘ follow in this release.

DKB is definitely growing in sound and style. With every comeback they show a new side of them and their music. Make sure to listen to this release here.
