[Review] Project Wolf Hunting

We’re back with a new film review and this time we watched ‘Project Wolf Hunting’. This one is not for the squeamish so let’s dig in!

‘Project Wolf Hunting’ is a blend of sci-fi, action and plenty of gore! It was directed by Kim Hong-sun and stars Seo In-guk and Jang Dong-yoon amongst a few big names.

We follow the characters as they sail from Korea to the Philippines on a cargo ship. There are the criminals and the police escorting them as well as the workers of the cargo ship.

There’s also a mysterious patient who has literal maggots in his mouth.

Whereas at the start all of the criminals are nicely tied down, they – of course – manage to escape their holdings and try to overtake the ship. This all happens in a rain of blood and violence.

Then it also turns out that the mystery patient woke up and he has a past that is more tied to one of the prisoners than one expects.

This is a gore fest that is not for the squeamish. It’s a fun ride, with hardly any realistic elements at all but that makes it even funnier.
