[Review] Le Sserafim – ANTIFRAGILE

The girls from Le Sserafim are back to stun everyone with their second mini-album ‘ANTIFRAGILE’. Let’s dive right in!

ANTIFRAGILE

We start off with ‘The Hydra’. This is a very cool intro with hard EDM beats and a voice-over that reminds us the members are ‘antifragile’. It’s pretty dope!

Next up is the title track ‘ANTIFRAGILE’. This title track is EVERYTHING! I’m obsessed with the Latin beats and the chorus. The way they slide their vocals on the ‘lion’ for example is insane and I am living for it. This feels like such a fresh and new sound while firmly staying in their identity. It’s dope.

‘Impurities’ is an R&B track with a Hip-Hop beat. This is a super laidback track with great vocals and a lovely message. I would die for a live version of this.

After that is ‘No Celestial’. We’re going early 200s pop rock reminiscent of Avril Lavigne with this one. It’s a major vibe and fits the concept so well. I’m loving the autotuned phrases here and there. The chorus is hella catchy and feels like a lot of fun!

The closing track is ‘Good Parts (when the quality is bad but I am)‘. This is a super soft pop track that feels like the perfect closing track. It ends on a vulnerable moment that makes the full mini-album feel very genuine.

Le Sserafim certainly didn’t disappoint with their first comeback ‘ANTIFRAGILE’. You can listen to the album on Spotify here.
