[Review] Forgotten

We’re back with a new film review and this time we watched the 2017 film ‘Forgotten’. Let’s take a closer look!

Plot

‘Forgotten’ is a film written and directed by Jang Hang-Jun and contains insane talent like Kang Ha-Neul, Kim Moo-Yul, Moon Sung-Geun and Na Young-Hee.

It’s a psychological thriller that will have you second guessing yourself at every turn. You think the story is going one way but it goes somewhere completely different. I have been meaning to watch this movie for ages, but was never in the right mood for it. I finally pulled myself together and I wasn’t disappointed.

This is one very cool movie where the less you know the better it is for the full plot. But to give a very basic outline, it goes as follows.

Our main character Jin-Seok (Kang Ha-Neul) and his family move houses and when they’re in the new house his brother (Kim Moo-Yul) gets abducted. The brother returns after a couple of days with no memory of what happened, but things escalate and we’re in for a wild ride.
