K-Variety Taster: ‘WORLD OF STREET WOMAN FIGHTER’ — Rivalries Rise and K-Pop Missions Begin (Episodes 3 & 4 Recap)

As promised, we’re back with another K-Variety Taster! If you’ve been following along, we’re diving deep into the best moments of ‘WORLD OF STREET WOMAN FIGHTER’ (WSWF). Missed the first recap? Catch it and then return to stay in the loop on everything that went down in Episodes 3 and 4!

Episode 3 Highlights:

Last time, we were left hanging on a major cliffhanger — who would win the Main Dancer title for the Leader Class? Our predictions were totally off: not only did RHTokyo’s Rie Hata win the choreo vote, she also claimed the Main Dancer title after intense competition, becoming a finalist alongside BUMSUP’s Honey J.

With the main dancers selected, it was time to film the Music Videos. As tradition dictates, each leader had to name the “Worst Dancer” in their group. But this season added a twist: directors also had to choose a team for the “Director’s Cut” highlight.

Rookie Class — Directed by AG Squad

Directors Vanessa and Aaliyah took the helm with big visions — but also some friction. After a TikTok incident, Royal Family was picked as “Worst Dancer” and RHTokyo landed the “Director’s Cut” spotlight.

Middle Class — Directed by Royal Family

Harmz, Zari, Isla, and Moana led this class with high-concept storytelling. They cast themselves as leads, making others background performers. They chose OSAKA Ojo Gang for “Director’s Cut” and strategically selected AG Squad as “Worst Dancer.”

Leader Class — Directed by RHTokyo

This was one of our favorite music videos of the show so far. Each leader truly shined under Rie Hata’s direction. Despite a language barrier, Honey J and the team delivered a conceptually brilliant and polished piece. Honey J was named “Worst Dancer,” while Marlee earned the “Director’s Cut” spot.

K-Pop Mission Begins:

The next challenge was the much-anticipated K-Pop Mission. Teams were paired up to create choreographies based on a K-pop single mash-up — with the twist of mimicking a section of each other’s choreo.

Rie Hata, having won the previous round, got to assign the teams:

  • RHTokyo + BUMSUP
  • AG Squad + Royal Family
  • OSAKA Ojo Gang + MOTIV

Episode 4 Highlights:

The mission began with each team creating choreos for iconic tracks by G-Dragon, aespa, and Jennie:

BUMSUP and RHTokyo created a choreography for a mash-up of Jennie’s singles ‘Like Jennie’, ‘Mantra’ and ‘EXtraL’.

Royal Family and AG Squad were given aespa’s mash-up including ‘Armageddon’, ‘Drama’ and ‘Whiplash’.

The last group including MOTIV and OSAKA Ojo Gang were given G-Dragon’s mash-up including ‘Good Boy’, ‘POWER’ and ‘Home Sweet Home’.

After fierce preparation, the winning teams were:

  • BUMSUP
  • MOTIV
  • AG Squad

That meant Royal Family and OSAKA Ojo Gang faced off in the Elimination Battle.

After five intense rounds (yes, five!), OSAKA Ojo Gang claimed the win with 3 out of 5 round victories.

Next Up: The Mega Crew Mission

After a well-deserved break, Jennie dropped the next challenge — the Mega Crew Mission. Each team must return to their home country and create a choreography that reflects their culture and showcases a massive crew.

Final Thoughts

Episodes 3 and 4 delivered high drama, incredible creativity, and unforgettable performances. These teams continue to show why they are internationally respected names in dance. We can’t wait to see what happens next.
