There’s a new sub-unit in town with OX:N with their debut EP ‘N’. Four members: Jaehan, Xen, Jehyun, and Yechan from popular boy group OMEGA X teamed up as the new OX:N. Let’s dive in!

We start off with the track ‘SUIT & TIE’. This is a cool pop rock moment with some dance thrown in. I really enjoyed the melody and the guitars. The vocals were impressive and I like the bridge section. This was a great opener.
‘YOU’ is the title track and we’re going for a Y2K pop moment. The song: “contains a love message of falling for a captivating someone and giving them your all.” The vocals were really great again and there are some insane high notes in the backing track. I am going to need a behind the scenes video of the recording.
We’re going for a sentimental moment with ‘LET ME IN’. The groovy guitars are everything in this track. It’s all about “the deep regret and longing of not being able to forget the other person after a breakup, as well as the desire to start loving again.”
‘ORPHEUS’ is a lovely pop track with amazing storytelling of the epic of Orpheus and Eurydice and the longing for your partner. This was a beautiful listen. I’m very impressed by this.
The closing track is ‘CAUSE OF YOU’. “This is a confession to FOR X, who became a light for each other even in the darkness, and a song about how precious this moment they are together is.” It’s a pop rock track with great momentum and it feels very cathartic with the chanting.
