Early Career: From Kimy Fiesta to Bronze
Kim Hwi-dong, better known today as Bronze, officially debuted in 2009 under the stage name Kimy Fiesta. In 2019, he rebranded as Bronze, marking a fresh chapter in his evolving sound.
Since 2014, according to his MELON profile, Bronze began contributing as a composer and lyricist for other artists while continuing his solo projects.
First Credits in Hip-Hop & R&B
One of Bronze’s earliest credits was on SWINGS’ 2014 single ‘Phone Number’, working alongside GIRIBOY, Verbal Jint, and SWING. He also collaborated with SISTAR on their B-side track ‘OK GO!’ that same year.
Over the years, Bronze became a fixture in the Korean R&B and hip-hop scene, working with CRUCiAL STAR, KIRIN, Jay Park, Sik-K, Don Mills, among many others.
Works in K-pop
Throughout his career as a composer, he has also worked along with KPOP artists, one of his earliest works was for WJSN in 2017, for the single ‘Perfect!’, and the single ‘Y.O.U’ for DONGKIZ I:KAN in 2020.
