Vocal legend Taeyeon is back with her new single ‘Can’t Control Myself’. This is a pre-release ahead of her upcoming album that will be coming out in February.
‘Can’t Control Myself’ is a pop punk ballad that has a really cool balance between commercial appeal and the guitars common to the punk genre. It’s pretty well done and creates a cool listening experience. Taeyeon’s vocals as always are lovely and I really enjoyed the ebb and flow of the single. The soft piano that comes in, with the descending synth was a super nice touch.
Taeyeon was also credited as a co-lyricist. Definitely turn on those captions, because wow.
