The boys from TAN are back with their new mini-album ‘W SERIES ‘2 TAN”. Let’s dive right in!
W SERIES ‘2 TAN’
We start off with the title track ‘Louder‘. The way that they played with the intensity, rhythms and pattern is kind of a vibe. It’s a really cool listen. The first time I was stunned every other section. It’s kind of crazy, but I dig it.
The music video takes place in an apocalyptic earth that is filled with trash. The water dance scene gave me flashbacks to the ‘Step Up’ series.
Next up is the single ‘Adorable’. BTOB’s Minhyuk co-wrote the lyrics for this one. It’s a cool mid-tempo pop track that lets you focus on their sweet vocals. It’s cute.
‘My Heart’ is a happy funky pop track that has some cool brass in the instrumentals. Because of the snaps in the backing track, I kind of wish they would release an a capella version too. I think it’d be a moment.
The closing track is the English version of the title track ‘LOUDER’.
Overall, ‘W SERIES ‘2 TAN” is a very cute comeback by TAN. I’m excited to see where they take their musicality next time. If you’d like to read about their debut, you can click here.
