[Review] I.M – Off The Beat

I.M is back with his latest mini-album ‘Off The Beat’. We’re as always super curious about his releases, so let’s take a closer look!

Off The Beat

We’re starting off with the title track ‘LURE’. We’re going for Latin influences and this is so freaking dope. I love the guitars in the backing track and the hint of Bossa Nova.

This is sensual, incredibly smooth and a major vibe.

‘Bust it’ comes next. This one has an intense trap beat and is really smooth. I enjoyed the writing and the flow. I.M did a great job with this one.

Next up is ‘XO’. We’re going for dark and mysterious with this. I like the synths in this a lot, it’s kind of like we’re underwater.

‘Skyline’ is sexy and honestly almost +18. Add this to your sexy time playlists.

‘MMI’ stands for me, myself and I. I like the beat a lot and the little instrumental intro was lovely. The chorus is well done and creates a clear division in the track.

The closing track is ‘nbdy’. According to the album description this is “about oneself facing the emptiness of someone’s absence.” I enjoyed the little vibrato in his vocals. It’s a vibe.

Overall, ‘Off The Beat’ is a very solid mini-album by I.M. Check it out here.
