[Review] BVNDIT – Re-Original

The girls from BVNDIT are finally back with a new mini-album ‘Re-Original’. Let’s dive right in, because I’ve been waiting for ages.

Re-Original

We start off with the instrumental intro ‘Re-Original’. It’s a cool EDM moment and a fun listen.

After that comes the title track ‘VENOM’. This EDM hype track is all about self-empowerment. Just like their group name, ‘Be Ambitious And Do It’, the song is quite ambitious and hits hard.

The camera work feels quite hectic, it’s continuously in motion but it adds to the hype vibe. The girls all look amazing! The book cut-out set at 1.15 is incredible!

After that we get ‘JIGGY’. We’re going hybrid hip-hop with a funky instrumentation. I enjoyed the brass sample added and with the members’ low timbres, this is such a great combo. The chorus is SO catchy! I love the low and high registers dynamic.

‘AWAKEN’ brings us to a hot Latin summer. The Moombahton track is such a grand moment. I desperately need a live version with a real band playing in a club somewhere in Latin-America. I love this so much. Also hello vocals in the bridge!

The closing track is ‘DON’T MESS WITH ME’. The rap moment gives me life. The chorus is catchy and inspiring and if you ever need help to get rid of someone toxic, call BVNDIT.

‘Re-Original’ by BVNDIT is a lovely mini-album that houses a variety of genres. I’m still obsessed with their vocals and hope that the group finds major success.
