[Review] BAE173 – INTERSECTION: TRACE

BAE173 is back with their second mini album ‘INTERSECTION: TRACE‘, they debuted last year with the single album ‘INTERSECTION: SPARK‘.

This time the group under PocketDol Studio is bringing five new tracks. A few of the members participated in the lyrics too. We are very curious about this release, let’s dive into the music.

INTERSECTION: TRACE

#Trace‘ kicks off this release with heavy hip-hop tunes and what an impressive way to start this mini-album. The lyrical delivery and flow was super cool. They did an amazing job and successfully captured the listener’s attention with this track and their fire delivery.

We smoothly transition to the title track ‘Loved You‘. This electronic dance song has a bit of a cheerful rhythm but the lyrical delivery goes the opposite way. It is a bit nostalgic actually. For sure, this song transmits mixed feelings to listeners, but it is a great and super easy listen.

The music video feels very nostalgic too, the members’ acting is really good, and the production is top quality from every angle. Watch it below.

Rain fall welcomes listeners in ‘I Can’t Sleep‘, the R&B vibe in this pop song is super chill and had me grooving to it. The guitar riff throughout the full track was a lovely addition, it really complemented the members’ vocals and even the rap delivery.

Next on the list is ‘Green Light‘ with a futuristic-pop track and synth. This song is a happy tune with a very hopeful and cheerful feel. It really feels like an end of concert song. Super cute.

Last on this release is the instrumental version of the title track. BAE173 did an amazing job with this release, they kept the music diverse and their sound very unique.

This release is not available in Spotify yet, but you can enjoy the rest of their discography here.
