Rapper In The Spotlight: Roh Yunha

In this week’s rapper in the spotlight we want to talk about a young talent that hasn’t been that long in the industry, but has captivated many with his unique rapping flow and style. Let’s talk about Roh Yunha.

Noh Yoon-ha (aka. Roh Yunha) debuted independently in 2020 at just sixteen years of age. His first release was the mixtape ‘Jam1e’.

In 2021, Yunha participated in the survival show ‘High School Rapper’ for its fourth season. During the show he ranked quite well in all the challenges, gained popularity, and ended up becoming the runner-up for this season. Check a few of his best stages below.

During this year he also released the singles ‘Makin Shit’, ‘Walk’ and participated in ‘GWTM Remix’ with LiTrilla, Ji Hyeon-min, D.Ark, Osun and YLN Foreign.

The following year, Roh Yunha kept on proving himself, to show off his growth as a rapper he signed up as a contestant for the survival shows ‘Drop The Bit’ and ‘Show Me The Money 11′. He didn’t win either of the shows, but left some impressive stages and plenty of iconic moments. 

Latest releases

After a very successful participation in the survival shows, Yunha has released several collaboration projects including the singles ‘Mo Famous’ featuring Yumewanaii, ‘No Hook’ with Thugboyy and Young Five, and the extended play ‘EarthQuake’ with Cherry Boy 17.

His latest solo release is the EP ‘Skip Bottom’, including features by his mentor Blase, KOR KASH and YLN Foreign.
