Balladeer Park Won is back with his new single album ‘My fxxxxx romance 02-1’. The album contains three singles.
The first single is ‘fxxxxx crazy’. The music video shows the love story of a gay couple. One of the actors, Lee Se Jin played in the Korean BL ‘Mr. Heart’. The other actor is Lee Ki Hyun, who is quite a newcomer. This music video is beautifully done and deserves a spot on our list of ‘LGBTQ+ representation in K-pop‘.
The second single is the same song but with vocals of Stella Jang. She’s an indie favorite of mine. Stella Jang is also the one who wrote the lyrics of the track. This version is in English, you can read the lyrics here.
‘Notmystar’ featuring msftz is the last single on the album. This one was written by Park Won. This song tickles all the right spots in my brain. The harmonies are stunning, the electric guitar is *chef’s kiss* and I love how they used the pauses so well. When the transition into blues comes in, I was already adding it to my playlist. It’s so good!!
