For this week’s Offstage we want to share the work of a duo with an impressive list of hit songs produced by them. Let’s talk about GroovyRoom.
Origins
GroovyRoom consists of , both DJs, producers and composers. They debuted in 2015 and are the Hip-Hop crew Yelows Mob, where they produced for Sik-K.
In 2015, they were signed under C9 Entertainment, where they produced for Olltii. They also produced singles for Bastarz, Park Kyung, Cheetah, Gary, Jay Park and Dynamic Duo.
Their debut single album was released in 2016, ‘Loyalty’ featured the vocals of Ailee and the rapper Dok2, nafla and VerbalJint.
H1GHR MUSIC
After signing with H1GHR MUSIC in 2017, they released their first album ‘EVERYWHERE’. This release included a top tier list of features including Heize, Suran, pH-1, Loopy and many others.
In 2018, they released the single ‘My Paradise’ featuring CHUNG HA and VINXEN.
This release was followed by the single album ‘THIS NIGHT’, the single ‘Face Down’ and the EP ‘ROOM SERVICE’.
Starting from 2020, they became part of the project ‘find your light’, a collaboration between Louis Quatorze and Art Collective Contributors. For this project GroovyRoom have released the six singles ‘Palette’ featuring pH-1, ‘Burn’ feat. Cookie, ‘Daylight’ feat. HAON, ‘FYL’ feat. Golden, ‘follow the light’ feat. Hoody, and ‘by your color’ feat. Nucksal & Don Mills.

With H1GHR MUSIC, GroovyRoom became one of the main producers for the R&B and Hip-Hop artists under this label, and their collaboration projects.
A New Start
In March 2021, GroovyRoom announced that they would start their own label AREA, which will be in partnership with H1GHR MUSIC.
