We’re back with a new Ode To The Artist and this time we’re taking a closer look at living legend Lee Seung-chul. He has a career that spans thirty years with incredible releases and performances. He has a fantastic voice and a huge list of albums.
Debut
Lee first debuted in 1985 as the vocalist of the rock group Boohwal. It wasn’t until 1989 that he went solo with his album ‘Don’t Say Goodbye’.
In 1989 he also released his second full-length album ‘Last Concert part 2’.
His next album ‘Ballerina-Girl’ came out in September 1990.
The year after he released his album ‘The Wandering’.
In the 90s he also released the albums ‘The Secret of Color’, ‘The Bridge of Sonic Heaven’, and ‘1999’.
His first release in the 2000s is the album ‘The Live Long Day’.
In 2006, 2007 and 2009 respectively he came out with ‘Reflection of Sound’, ‘The Secret of Color 2’ and ‘Mutopia: Land of dreams’.
In the nillies Lee Seung-chul released the albums ‘My Love’ and ‘Time Goes Fast like an Arrow’.
His most recent release is the release of the single ‘I miss you’ which came out in 2024.
