BSS is back with ‘TELEPARTY’

Our boys, DK, Hoshi and Seungkwan from SEVENTEEN are back as BSS with their second single album ‘TELEPARTY’. This comes after the hugely successful single ‘Fighting’ from 2023 featuring Lee Young Ji.

‘TELEPARTY’ is the combination of the two words ‘telepathy’ and ‘party’. It means: “a party connected to everyone in the world through telepathy. It contains Boo Seok-soon’s message to throw a party where you can enjoy the happiness of this moment by reading people’s minds through telepathy. [TELEPARTY] contains cheers and encouragement for modern people who are tired from a hard day and forget small happiness.”

The single album contains three singles, all of which were co-written by the three members of BSS, Woozi and Bumzu.

‘CBZ’ is the opening track and also the title track. We get an uplifting track, with a jazzy piano, a swing tempo and a chorus you can’t help but shout along to.

I love the music video. It’s classy, funny and has some big names like Uhm Jung-Hwa, Jung Young-Joo and Kal So-won in it. They’re also bringing the Canadian tuxedo back, which is honestly so classy.

‘Happy alone’ follows that, sticking with the retro vibe. This is a new jack swing track that talks about gifting yourself your very own party during you regular, exhausting day to day. It’s joyful, fun and has a really catchy instrumental.

The closing track is ‘Love Song’. This takes us back to 2000s R&B where we’re pining after our ex. It’s soft, has stunning vocal work and ends this single album on a slightly bittersweet note.
