Mini-Album Review: Seo Eunkwang – FoRest: Entrance

BtoB’s Seo Eunkwang finished his military service just a month ago, and today he is debuting as a solo artist with a new mini-album, we just have to say this, Eunkwang works hard.

FoRest: Entrance

Dear My Dear’ kicks off this release with some astonishing vocalization and top quality orchestration. This ballad has some incredible details in the track that make you feel as if you are listening to the OST of a fairy tale, something about it feels pure and raw. An absolute gem.

The title track ‘No One Knows’ is next, Eunkwang’s voice is beautiful and his delivery super touching. The music video for this song is simple and yet astonishing, it complements the flow and feel of this song. Make sure to watch it below.

Have a nice day’ is next with some amazing violin accompaniments. This pop-ballad is the perfect OST for a drama, it feels hopeful but sad, like a bittersweet goodbye. Just charming!

Starting off with some breathtaking vocals we have ‘About Eternity’. This song is super soft and bewitching from the very beginning. It feels delicate and it is extremely enjoyable to listen to.

Changing the flow and rhythm we have ‘The Four Seasons’, this track would be the perfect song to be sung in an end of year festival. It has the right tempo and flow, it’s positive, playful and engaging.

Love again’ comes next with a more up-beat tempo. This song goes a lot more to the pop side in comparison with the previous one but with an indie touch that I particularly loved.

Finishing off this release we have ‘With U’ and once more we go all the way to astonishing vocals and instrumentalization. This song feels like the perfect closure for this release, it goes back to the roots of this mini album, with breathtaking performance and delivery.
