We’re back with a new Indie Pick, this time we’re focusing on singer-songwriter Lee Kang Seung. Let’s take a closer look!
Lee Kang Seung debuted in 2019 with his EP ‘In other words it’s all made by Kyeongsuk’. This mini-album contains five songs and the tracks are filled with great instrumentals and Lee’s lovely vocals. It feels intimate and the guitar is definitely one of the highlights.
One of my personal favorites is ‘Ginkgo’ from this album because of its wonderful bass.
in 2021 he released his next mini-album ‘Korean Dream’. This contains 4 tracks and has a double title track.
‘Love is too easy’ is the first of the two title tracks and this is such a dreamy single. I love this melancholic vibe and his vocals are beautiful. The piano that comes in is absolutely lovely.
The second title track is ‘Kims only love you’.
Lee Kang Seung’s latest release is his single ‘Dooryu Park’.

Lee Kang Seung has a great voice and he’s a very good composer. I’m very curious to see where he takes his music next!
