Fashion Inspiration from Dramas

Today we are back with a brand new feature for you, and fashion is the topic this time.

Korean Dramas, besides giving us amazing stories and a lot of entertainment, also give us one of the best fashion inspirations out there.

Our favourite actors and actresses have given us the best on screen moments wearing outfits that many fans have dreamed of and have inspired us in many ways. We have listed a few of our favourite outfits worn by our favourite Korean actors and actresses, so be ready to get inspired to renovate your entire wardrobe.

1 – XX

2020 Web-Drama ‘XX’ felt like a fashion runway, Lee Roo-Mi had one incredible wardrobe and episode by episode she had us shook with her amazing style and boss-like personality.

These are just a couple of our favourite outfits.

If you are looking for the CEO fierce look check the brands below. They were all used for this series.

2- Crash Landing On You

Yoon Se-ri’s fashion in Crash Landing on You was insane. She slayed high end brands and looked glorious in every single outfit.

There are too many memorable fashion moments in this drama, one of my favourite ones was the coat she wore in episode 12. The ‘CEO ready to rule the world’ vibe was everything.

This drama had sponsors such as Balmain, Burberry, Celine and many more. If you want to check more of the outfits check out the Instagram page below. They have done marvelous work collecting the fashion in this drama.

3 – The King: Eternal Monarch

We already know that the budget for Lee Min-ho’s latest drama was off the charts. SBS invested heavily in ‘The King: Eternal Monarch’ and we got one of the most beautiful dramas on TV.

Lee Min-ho’s and Jung Eun-chae’s characters definitely caught my eye. Both characters had an insanely incredible (and also very expensive) wardrobe. Brands like Fendi, Max Mara, Louis Vuitton, were among the many high end companies sponsoring the drama. Here are a few of my favourite outfits worn by these 2 characters.

4 – It’s Okay To Not Be Okay

I think we can all agree that we’re really jealous of the extravagant wardrobe of Ko Moon-Young’s character. That little pink outfit from MINJUKIM was just to die for.

There’s countless dresses and moments to choose from. I would literally sell my left kidney for her entire closet. Another outfit that was one of my favorites, because I think any body type could rock this one is the Dolce & Gabbana dress. I also think it would be relatively easy to find something that’s similar that isn’t 1600 dollars.

5 –  Hotel Del Luna

We couldn’t leave ‘Hotel Del Luna’ out of this list. IU’s character had one of the most memorable outfits that the small screen has ever seen. If I were to describe her style it would be elegant, old school, stylish with a touch of modernism.

Here are a few of our favourite items she wore and the designer.

Double breasted Coat by CHANEL

Denim Set Jacket + Skirt by MOSHINO

Blazer, Shirt and Skirt by CHLOE

That’s it for the first edition of fashion inspiration from dramas. Make sure to keep an eye on upcoming features. If you have a favorite fashion moment, let us know in the comments!
