DRIPPIN searches for answers in ‘Villain: ZERO’

DRIPPIN dropped their second single album and this one is a continuation of their Villain era. ‘Villain: ZERO‘ expands the universe they introduced with the prequel ‘Villain‘, and includes three brand new tracks.

Starting off with the title track ‘ZERO‘, DRIPPIN kicks of this release with a mix of hip-hop beats and a fantastic electric guitar riff. The change of beat for the pre-chorus is fantastic and makes the vocal line shine. The harmonisations and flow of this song are super dope, it had me hyped up.

With the music video, the members are continuing their storyline, trying to find answers in a mysterious world with heavy “Matrix” vibes, this music video really feels like a movie, and the choreography is super cool. Check it below.

GAME‘ follows up with a mix of reggae and pop, perfect for the summer season. This song is a smooth listen, I thought that it would lean more on the tropical reggaeton sound, but it took a chill turn that made it super cool. A total vibe.

Last on this release is ‘Trick and Treat‘ with an old school hip-hop flow mixed with a rock inspired track. This song is DOPE! I loved the chanting, changes of tempo and the amazing concept the went for. A total anthem.

DRIPPIN killed it with this single album, the concept, sound and overall vibe of this single album is just fantastic. Make sure to listen to it here.
