SF9 is back with their 12th mini-album ‘THE PIECE OF9‘. The members participated in the writing and composition of this release, and we are looking forward to listen to what they have prepared.
Let’s dive into the music.
THE PIECE OF9
Starting the mini-album is the title track ‘Puzzle‘, with this single we get heavy bass and a very catchy hook. The beat drops in this track are super cool, the contrast of the singing and rapping is one of a kind, and the changes in rhythm just flawless. This song is total bop and its music video makes it even cooler.
Peak aesthetics, plenty of amazing dancing and dope sets are the main topics in this production. The dance sections are incredible and the camera work superb. The special effects and smooth transitions just make watching a total experience that we wish was in 3D. Watch it below.
With an R&B and pop mix ‘Love Colour‘ plays next and this song is SMOOTH. The synth and vocals are incredible, and the layering out of this world, this single is addictive, sexy and super fun to listen to. This sound and SF9 should definitely mix more often.
A very epic and movie like intro opens up ‘New World‘. Zuho’s rapping is something else in this song, he really delivers and we are living for it. The sound and flow in this single are very interesting to listen to, and the instrumental pauses used and just dope.
Moombahton and trap take over in ‘Fighter‘. This single is all about adrenaline, it goes fast and hard, it’s perfect to hit the gym with. ‘Tight‘ follows the same vibe, but this time we get it with house music and hype singing. This song is super exciting from start to end and it energises us just by listening to it.
Last on this release is ‘Stay with me‘. This song ends this mini-album with a ballad rhythm and the vocal line shining from every angle. The feels get real and it is a beautiful and very sentimental listen.
SF9 did an amazing job at gathering different genres and sounds in a really good release with ‘THE PIECE OF9’. Listen to this mini-album here.
