We’re back with a hot new Weekly K-Indie Report. Let’s dive in to see which Indie artists came back with new music!

SUNDAY

A month after releasing ‘Dance’, OVCOCO is back with the single ‘MNMNM’. The song is such a happy bop, I couldn’t not share.

The song isn’t on Spotify yet, but here’s her Artist Profile.

On the complete other side of the emotion spectrum, we have the title track of Lee Yerin. Her new EP ‘Far Away ½’. If you like this track, please listen to the other three songs, because this EP is honestly amazing.

MONDAY

YESEO is back with a new single and I love her, so I was really stoked. ‘Blood Stream’ is a really lovely single with some funky instrumentation. I’m here for it.

TUESDAY

The indie musician Mandong released the EP ‘Man in a Hurry’. Jung Sumin is credited as the bassist and Kim Oki, who we wrote a feature about a while back as the saxophonist.

This female duet Dailylab is wonderful and I need more people to listen to them. They dropped their single ‘Hope right person comes’ and it is absolutely lovely.

Collective Arts released the single ‘Like a child’.

Will Rise dropped the new single ‘Earth Dot’ featuring the lovely Shin Ji Hoon.

The punk rock band RUMKICKS released the EP ‘Brutality’. If you’re ready for some fantastic guitar, check out their title track ‘Goodbye Song’.

From Island is back with the single ‘See You Again’. It is SOFT.

Yungdan came out with the single album ‘Tetrapod’ which includes an acoustic version and an instrumental version.

WEDNESDAY

ZOIN released the single album ‘You look very happy’. He’s been active since 2015, so go check out his earlier stuff as well.

THURSDAY

Jazz band Teho released the album ‘Teho1’ and it is SO good.

Hoochus released his single ‘Slow Slow Quick Quick’. It’s such a mood.

The R&B singer Yoomyoungwoo came out with his debut EP ‘HOME ACTOR’. I really enjoyed listening to ‘LOST DAWN’. If you want a very echoey, spacious sound, check out ‘SAD ENDING’.

The new duo Videorose released the single album ‘Holy Garden’ with two singles, ‘Holy Garden’ and ‘Tropical Planet’.

Conut, who we featured in our Indie Pick this week, released her new single ‘Dream Camcorder’.

Probably one of my favorite discoveries from this week is the singer Sýn Hjang. She came out with the new single ‘Hope’ and I’m in love with the combo of her vocals and the electronic sound.

FR:EDEN released his new single ‘Seokchon Lake’.

FRIDAY

The duo Siot and Breeze came out with the song ‘Thought Thought Thought’. I am in love with the harmonization, because it’s beautiful y’all.

If you want an absolutely lovely instrumental discovery, check out the new single ‘Beach Umbrella’ by PJNOTREBLE. Also the flute in this is lovely! The single is on his new EP ‘POLAROID’.

The trippy single ‘BAM BADA’ by CHS was released on Friday. Go watch the music video and take a ride on the back of a seagull.

SATURDAY

CROQ came out with a brand new EP ‘Goldilocks (Part.2)  :  Melody’. It’s literal heaven. His track ‘Knock’ grabs your full attention from the start and when he starts singing I was immediately sold. His song ‘How can I forget you’ is amazing and I love the instrumentals.

Ryu Jisu released her new single ‘Sailing Ship’. It’s a total bop and I’m digging her vocals.
