Weekly K-Indie Report

We’re back with a new Weekly K-Indie Report. There were some amazing new songs released and I can’t wait to share them with all of you indie enthusiasts. Are you ready to discover?

MONDAY

Joe Layne released his album ‘In My Mind’. If you like funky, jazzy indie music with great vocals, you have got to check this one out. I’d say listen to the full album, but for people with less time, try checking out ‘Forget it all !!!’, ‘Because this is how we live’ and ‘In my mind’.

You can find the album on Spotify here.

Sueun released the single ‘Past Love’. It feels very floaty and transports you out of your mind for three and a half minutes.

Keylight released the MV for his collab with MELOH. The song ‘Save You’ is as smooth as a glass of wine. ‘Save You’ is part of his EP ‘Wherever We Are’. I really enjoyed listening to ‘Downtown Brooklyn’, also ‘215’ featuring JUNIK is dope.

The group Chudahye Chagis released the album ‘Underneath the Dangsan Tree Tonight’ which feels very much like trot mixed with alternative rock. If you don’t have time to listen to the full thing, but you still want to try a couple of songs, listen to ‘Binasoo+’ and ‘Ritual Dance’.

For a nice rock moment, listen to the new release ‘I don’t know if you don’t tell me’ by solo artist Lee Jun Hyung

The song isn’t on Spotify yet, but here’s his artist profile.

For classical music fans, check out the new single album by Floating moments. One of the songs is apparently the new game soundtrack of ‘Mungee’.
