[Indie Pick] Conut

We’re back with a new Indie Pick, this time featuring the lovely Conut.

Conut is a singer-songwriter who’s been active since 2015 and is signed under Halin. Her debut single album ‘The Surface’ isn’t on Spotify unfortunately. Though I did find it on YouTube Music, surprisingly.

The first single ‘흘러간다’ is SO GOOD. I can’t believe I hadn’t listened to that before I started researching. It’s even better when you realize that Conut wrote, composed and arranged it herself. We stan talent.

In 2016 she released the single ‘Rainy Sunday’ which feels a lot more electronic though we still get her superb vocals.

She also came out with the song ‘You Make Me Beautiful’. It’s totally amazing and I’m in love with it.

Conut’s first EP in 2017 ‘23℃’ is filled with funky songs. The title track ‘Sunny After Cloudy’ has amazing bass.

Her second EP in 2018 ‘Dreamy Drive’ has the title track ‘White Blossom’. The title of the EP fits the song so well, it’s very floaty.

‘Coin Wash’ was a 2019 release and it literally hurts my heart that the music video has less than 400 views. So please watch it.

Conut’s latest release is the song ‘Today I Look At The Sky’. I love how playful and soft this is at the same time.

You should really go check out her YouTube channel because she posts a lot of covers and they’re all wonderful.

This is her YouTube Music page, if you want to listen to her earlier releases.

This is her Instagram page, go say hi!
