This week we are starting a brand new series where we will be recommending products for different skin concerns.
We are starting off with signs of aging, which is definitely a concern many out there have. There are many factors that affect premature skin aging, such as genetics or over exposure to UV rays.
Starting from a young age, it is important to build up a skincare routine that will keep our skin healthy and protected from external factors. UV protection and hydration are key elements that will help our skin look healthy and avoid premature signs of aging.
As early as in our early 20s the skin can start to show wrinkling, hyperpigmentation and other skin issues, but we can prevent these by providing our skin with needed nutrients and building up a skin care routine that will keep the skin looking healthy and hydrated.
Cerimide, amino acids, peptides and collagen are produced naturally by the body but as we age we might need an extra boost to help our body as we start to produce less of it naturally.
Korean skincare is incredible at keeping the ingredients list simple and effective, providing the skin with what is needed. A lot of the products labelled as anti-aging include in its formulation collagen, snail mucin and ginseng, but it is also recommended looking for products with hydrating ingredients and vitamins.

Using Rice as its main ingredient, this ampoule fortifies the skin barrier and provides hydration and antioxidants key to keep a youthful skin.
This product is a new find for me, and I am looking forward to testing it. It is also plant based as the name suggests, so you get a powerful product with natural ingredients.
Neogen – White Truffle Serum In Oil Drop
White truffle is known for being high in antioxidants, boosting moisture retention and skin elasticity. I would recommend this product for people with dry skin, its oil/serum formulation will definitely nourish the skin, whilst helping with hyperpigmentation.
Sulwhasoo – Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Cream EX
Pricier than the other ones and on the high end of Korean Skincare, Sulwhasoo comes in with a great anti-aging range with Korean Ginseng as its base ingredients.
Known for its high quality, this product claims to have antioxidant benefits and give a firmer complexion, enhancing moisture on the skin and helping with uneven texture.
