[Review] TNX – Love Never Dies

2022 rookies TNX are back with their second mini-album ‘Love Never Dies’, they debuted last year with the mini-album ‘WAY UP’ with plenty of power tunes and a killer style.

For this single they are shaking things up, and even released several versions of their title track. Let’s get right into what this group has prepared for the fans.

Love Never Dies

The intro ‘Love Never Dies‘ opens up this EP with a interesting mix of sounds and beats that creates a bit of a mysterious vibe. I really loved how this intro track sets the mood for this release, definitely super fun and very interestingly mixed.

On a very smooth transition ‘I Need You’ takes over with a pop/R&B sound. The rap line delivers some sick verses for this single, and the full arrangement of the song is rather emotional but its flow is very captivating.

The title track ‘Love or Die‘, moves this release along with with an angsty feel and an EMO Hip-Hop touch. The mixing in this track brings modern tunes but with an old school vibe, this single was very surprising but definitely a very interesting addition to TNX discography.

The music video mixes elements of hip-hop, emo-rock and plenty of aesthetics, the effects, their choreography and camera work was really well done and members transmitted the emotions of this song to perfection. Watch it below.

With ‘Wasn’t Ready‘, we keep up this vibey but sentimental style. This track is very hip-hop and R&B driven. This time they incorporated an EDM arrangement that adds a very interesting contrast. The harmonies are also fantastic in this release and this vocal line of TNX totally shines in this single.

Hip-Hop and synths mix to create hype in ‘Slingshot‘. The style and beats in this track are incredible, and the rap flow amazing. The members’ speed, delivery and uses of pauses are peak perfection, and the back vocals gives this song a new dimension. This song is an absolute killer.

Last is the single ‘DDA-DDA-DDA‘ closing it in rather cutely and emotionally way. This single is very short but pretty and heartwarming.

TNX delivered a fantastic EP with ‘Love Never Dies’. Their title track has three different versions by emetsound, Glen Check, Rad Museum and SOLE. Make sure to listen to all of these versions and this release here.
