[Review] TEMPEST – THE CALM BEFORE THE STORM

The boys from TEMPEST are back with their latest mini-album ‘THE CALM BEFORE THE STORM’. Let’s take a closer look!

THE CALM BEFORE THE STORM

We start off with ‘EYE OF THE STORM‘. This track immediately sets the tone with an incredible amount of power. It’s fun, has some really nice rhythm sections and a lot of charisma.

Next up is the title track ‘Dangerous’. It’s a vibe. I really like this. It’s catchy, has really nice vocals. The bridge is beautiful! I could totally see this becoming a classic.

‘Freak Show’ comes up next. From the get-go we get a lot of funk and a really nice groove. The bass is super cool and the layering has some pretty cool instrumentals. This is a lot of fun and energy!

The closing track is ‘I’ll be there’ which is a track for the fans. It’s a lovely mid-tempo pop ballad that has a very cool guitar in the backing track. The vocals create a warm ambience and it’s overall just really nice to listen to.

TEMPEST did a great job with ‘THE CALM BEFORE THE STORM’. Go listen to it here on Spotify.
