[Review] Kim Sejeong – I’m

Kim Sejeong is back with her new mini-album ‘I’m‘. This is her first comeback this year, we are thrilled about this one. Let’s take a look at the surprises that her sweet vocals are bringing this time.

I’m

Teddy bear‘ begins this EP, the drums and the electric guitar riff give this single a pop-rock vibe that I absolutely loved. Sejeong’s high notes in this song are flawless and overall this track has a personal and wholesome vibe to it that I found enchanting.

The title track ‘Warning‘ is next with a groovy and fun tempo. This track is charming, happy and a shot of positive energy. lIlBOI rapping was a fun and super cute addition to this track.

The music video follows the feel of this song with an overload of pastel colours and cuteness. Watch it below.

Do dum chit‘ plays next with a more up-beat tempo and a very sweet and almost positive feel to it. This song was a fun listen and it really felt like a feel-good song.

A guitar riff starts ‘Let’s go home‘, this track has a soft-rock vibe that felt like a fresh breeze. Sejeong’s high notes were flawless and I loved how this full track was composed. It was carefree and kinda wholesome.

Last on this release is ‘Maybe I am‘, this piano ballad is stunning from start to end, this song is ethereal from start to end, the orchestration and vocals are beautiful and full of emotion.

Overall, Kim Sejeong’s release was packed with amazing music that covered a few genres, and it was really well-rounded. This release is an amazing listening experience, and on top of that it is also self-written and co-composed. Just TALENT.
