SHINee’s KEY is back with his new mini-album ‘Good & Great’. As always with KEY, we have sky high expectations because he always delivers. Let’s dive in!
Good & Great
We start off with the title track ‘Good & Great’. I’m absolutely obsessed by this song. It’s a total bop and even before it ended I was singing along the chorus. The beat is sick and insanely catchy. I also really enjoyed the rhythmic piano.

‘Can’t say goodbye’ comes after that. We’re going retro with retro synths, funky guitars and killer vocals. This is a really good track y’all.
We’re going for a darker sound with ‘Intoxicating’. It’s a House Pop track with a really cool beat that begs to clubbing.
‘Live with you’ has such an intricate layering, it’s absolutely insane. I’m fully digging the dance pop with a side of interesting beats, more in particular the pre-chorus is IT.
Next up is ‘CoolAs’ and literally this track just proves that KEY is on a different plane of coolness. This is absolutely sickening! The guitar groove is everything and KEY’s kind of casual way of singing is the coolest thing in the world.
We close the mini-album with the track ‘Mirror Mirror’. KEY wrote the lyrics for this one himself. We’re going for a asofter R&B vibe with this one. I love the catchy hook and the whistle in the instrumentation. Also I hear you adalilbs!
Overall ‘Good & Great’ by KEY is exactly as good as I expected it to be. KEY has a great sense of musicality and always delivers really cohesive solo albums.
