The girlies from izna are back with their mini-album ‘SET THE TEMPO’. Let’s take a closer look!
SET THE TEMPO
We start off with ‘METRONOME’ which is the title track. The girls are singing about finding their own tempo on a deep house and dance beat.
It’s fun, catchy and such a nice listen! I love the chorus with their harmonies.
‘R.I.P’ follows that with a pop rock vibe where izna talks about “severing the standards of the past self and others to be reborn.” I really enjoyed the pace and the distorted vocals. This is such a vibe!
Next up is ‘INFINITY’. This is a song for naya – their fandom – where they’re declaring their love and thanks. The members participated in writing the lyrics.
‘ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS’ is a very synthy and witty track. It’s playful and catchy!
The closing track is ‘LEAN ON ME’. This track’s “message is that it is okay to lean on each other during moments of anxiety and loneliness.” It’s a synth pop track with a retro vibe to it.
