ITZY is back with their 6th mini-album ‘CHESHIRE‘. They had a busy 2022, with two releases and a world tour. Prior to their tour they dropped the pre-release single ‘Boys Like You‘ which is included in this EP.

CHESHIRE
The title track ‘Cheshire‘ starts off this release with awesome beats and angsty feels. The members do an amazing job in this song, the vocals and harmonies are fantastic, but my personal highlights were Ryujin’s rapping and Yeji’s vocals. For the music video we are shown the ‘True or Fake’ show where the members help us figure out what is fake and what is not. The concept of this MV was fun, colourful and very cool. The performance section and outfits are killer. Check it below.
With a very interesting twist ‘Snowy‘ follows up with a very surprising composition. This single samples Beethoven’s classic ‘Fur Elise’, and throughout the full song we get nothing but FINE vocals and an amazing musical mix. This track is an awesome listen.
With a more R&B feel ‘Freaky‘ comes up and I am loving the smooth sound ITZY shows in this song, their vocals are chill but strong, and with the full composition create the perfect balance. Last in this single is the pre-release single ‘Boys Like You‘.
