The girls from Fromis_9 are back with their new mini-album ‘from our Memento Box’. Let’s dive in to discover their newest tracks!
From our Memento Box
We start off with the track ‘Up And’. This is a happy summer track with some lovely synths in the backing track. Member Baek Jiheon co-wrote the lyrics.
The next track is the title ‘Stay This Way’. The girls are going on a spontaneous trip on this one. We get a lovely pop synth track with a groovy beat and beautiful vocals. It’s a super nice summer track.
‘Blind Letter’ has some insane writers in the credits. I’m talking Slow Rabbit, ADORA, Daniel Caesar and Lindgren. That’s pretty dope. It’s a smooth pop track that has some amazing harmonies. The vocals really take the cake in this one. Also I really enjoyed the guitars in the instrumentals, it gives the song a bit more body.
Next up is ‘Cheese’. We’re going groovy in this one. It’s such a fun listen and I love the dynamics between the poppy parts and the more funk based segments. It’s dope. The chorus slaps.
The closing track is ‘Rewind’. This is an incredibly cool House Pop track. The vocal layering is splendid and feels luxurious. This might just be my favorite track on the album.
