[Review] Dreamcatcher – Apocalypse : From us

The girls from Dreamcatcher are back with their latest mini-album ‘Apocalypse : from us’. We’re super stoked because Dreamcatcher really never disappoints with their albums. This is the last chapter in their Apocalypse series. Let’s dive in!

Apocalypse : From us

We start off with ‘Intro : From us’ with a piano riff that creates a mystical sound scape. The guitar brings us that classic Dreamcatcher sound and it goes hard! I really enjoyed the balance of the different instruments and the pace.

Next up is the title track ‘BONVOYAGE’. We start off very soft but hten the trusted rock genre comes back and I love how they keep reinventing the same space without it getting dull. This is a great track with a nice balance between the softer parts and the intense parts. I really like how the chorus is such a banger.

The music video is stunning and the girls all look incredible.

‘DEMIAN’ really said, let’s bring in the groove with a sick bass. This is absolutely fantastic and had me shook from the opening. I can’t believe we ended up going to the Metal genre from such a jazzy opening. This track is a 10/10. Also Dami, you’re doing amazing sweetie!

After such a wild ride we get the following track ‘Propose’. We’re going pop rock for this one and it’s a (slightly – very slightly) softer track. The rap verse was awesome and I really liked the members’ vocals. The pre-chorus was great!

The closing track is ‘To. You’. We’re closing the album off with a rock ballad with a very surprising synth addition. I did not see that coming. This is lovely!

Overall Dreamcatcher really can’t release a bad album, ‘Apocalypse : From us’ is no exception. This is brilliant and feels more rock heavy than other albums. It’s dope.
