[Review] Dreamcatcher – Apocalypse: Follow Us

The girls from Dreamcatcher are back to wow us with their new mini-album ‘Apocalypse: Follow Us’. Let’s take a closer look to see what they brought us this time!

Apocalypse: Follow Us

We start off with ‘Intro : Chaotical X’. This is a very apocalyptic sounding, electronic intro. It’s very grand and dramatic, so I’m definitely curious to see what follows.

After that comes the title track ‘VISION’. The ascending vocal on ‘vision’ is amazing! How refreshing! I really, really love this title track. It’s dramatic, has killer vocals and rap verses. The message is on theme and the music video has ALL the visuals.

Absolutely in love with this!

We’re going alternative rock with ‘Fairytale’. What a fantastic oldschool Dreamcatcher track. The guitars pop off and the bridge is just to die for. Lovely!

‘Some Love’ has some groovy instrumentation! This one is all about self love and they spread the message with a dope electric guitar and a super smooth synth.

Next up is ‘Rainy Day’ which slows things down a bit. This ballad will have you in your feelings while also weeping about how beautiful this sounds.

The closing track is ‘Outro : Mother Nature’ which starts off with a beautiful flute line. I love how hopeful and positive this feels. It sounds as if they’ve restored balance. Though the war drums at the end promise some tension as well.

Overall ‘pocalypse: Follow Us’ by Dreamcatcher is another fantastic release. You can listen to it here on Spotify.
