[Review] Cignature – Us in the summer

The girls from cignature are back with their latest mini-album ‘Us in the summer’. We’re super stoked, so let’s take a closer look at this new release.

Us in the summer

We start off with the track ‘Mess With My Mind’. This pop track leans toward the retro side with its oldschool synths and cool beat. I like the vocals a lot and overall this is a very smooth listening experience.

Next up is the title track ‘Smooth Sailing’. This is absolutely adorable. We’re going for a pop vibe with quite a bit of groove. The girls are singing about a love confession. I really enjoyed the harmonies and the chorus is a total earworm.

‘Sorry So Sorry’ is a pop track with a cool plucky synth. This feels a bit more adult in sound and I’m digging the vibe.

The closing track is ‘Little Me’. This is a beautiful ballad that is meant to comfort your inner child who’s anxious with the words ‘it’s okay’. The members’ vocals are stunning and I’d love to hear this live. It’s beautiful.

Overall ‘Us in the summer’ is a great comeback by Cignature. Go ahead and listen to the album on Spotify here.
