[Review] Cignature – My Little Aurora

The girls from Cignature are back with their third mini-album ‘My Little Aurora’. We’re super stoked, so let’s take a closer look!

My Little Aurora

We start off with ‘I’m Okay’. It’s funky, has super cool rock influences in the chorus and flows super nicely. I like the echoing words they implemented a lot. It’s pretty dope. The blend with the hip-hop beats feels fresh and cool.

‘AURORA’ is the title track. This is such a happy, bubblegum, classic K-pop track. This is the kind of K-pop that I originally (many years back) fell in love with. The hook is incredibly catchy, the colors pop and the glitter sparkles. It’s fun, bright and cheerful.

Next up is ‘PALACE’. We’re inviting House and synths in the instrumentals. It’s a fun, playful track that has some insanely high vocals. The girls have left winter behind them and are inviting spring in their sound.

The closing track is ‘PARADE’. If you’ve been following this blog for a while, you’ll know I’m a sucker for chanting and brass, which is exactly what they added to ‘PARADE’. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this. The chorus is insanely catchy and I would love to see a high school band cover this.

Overall, ‘My Little Aurora’ by Cignature is a super impressive mini-album. I really enjoyed listening to this and will continue to do so. We’ve gotten a variety of genres and sounds while it still feels like a solid work.
