Ode To The Artist: Moonbyul

We’re back with a new Ode To The Artist, this time we’re taking a closer look at Moonbyul and her credentials. She has a whopping 117 KOMCA writing credits which makes her the most credited female idol for songwriting.

We all know and love Mamamoo and Moonbyul is a vital part of that group (they all are but that’s beside the point). Moonbyul has been writing and composing pretty much from their debut. Moonbyul’s credits start from the second mini-album with the iconic ‘Um Oh Ah Yeh’.

Moonbyul always writes her own parts and it definitely adds to the wholesomeness of the group. Her features are always great and blend well with the artist. Let’s take a closer look!

She also hasn’t been afraid to push boundaries with her performances. I’m thinking of this iconic performance on the first season of ‘Queendom’.

And her beautiful track with Seori where they sing about wlw.

Moonbyul has undoubtedly left her footprint on the industry. We’re super stoked that we get to follow along.
